    Expansion Plans

"You are never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true."
    Richard Bach

You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"
    George Bernard Shaw

We thrive and grow through our pride of volunteers. To those who come for tours, those who spend their weekends pouring concrete, mowing grass, cleaning cages, watering, those who send monetary donations and attend our fundraisers: We thank you!

Here are just a few of the plans we have to enhance and improve the big cats' home in the coming months and years.

    Enclosures, Enclosures, Enclosures

Enclosures are a never ending story here at the facility. It gives a whole new meaning to “If you build it, they will come.” Most of the time cats need to come before their new home is even ready. As the funds and materials become available, we will continue to add more.

    “Home” Improvements

It is our goal to upgrade all existing wooden dens to permanent concrete structures. This will make them easier to keep clean and sanitary, while providing the cats with more comfortable and sturdy dens.  These permanent structures are also warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

Water Park for the Wild Ones

Most of the cats at the facility love their pools. With that in mind, we will be building a special enrichment area for the cats. In addition to the pools, toys and stimulating activities they enjoy in their own enclosures, this area will be their very own amusement park.

There will be rock and tree formations for climbing and games of hide ‘n’ seek. A water fall will provide clean water for drinking and splashing as it cascades into a Tigers Only swimming hole.
