Opened in 1993, Serenity Springs Wildlife Center is home to over 120 big cats, including lions, tigers, cougars, leopards, genets, servals, caracals, and a coatimundi. We are the largest federal and state licensed placement facility in Colorado.

Over the years, with dedication and determination we've become Colorado's premiere big cat facility. We are proud to be the only facility in the state, including government funded zoological parks, to qualify for and be granted, a State of Colorado Zoological License.

It is with joy that we provide care and love to the exotic cats in our care. Click here to see all of the opportunities you have to spend time with these majestic animals.

A facility of this size cannot survive without your help. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. There are several ways you can directly impact the lives of the cats that call Serenity Springs Wildlife Center home. Click on the How to Help link at the left for more information or click here to make a donation.

Please enjoy your visit to our website. Just as our facility is always growing and changing, this site will continue to grow and change. Bookmark us and come back often to see what is new and exciting at Serenity Springs Wildlife Center!

Our Mission Statement

Big Cats of Serenity Springs Inc. DBA Serenity Springs Wildlife Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe, stable and permanent home for non-domestic felines and other exotic wildlife.

Through educational programs and community outreach, we strive to raise public awareness of the existence of the large numbers of captive wildlife and the continuing need for sanctuary from exploitation, abuse and neglect.

Through introduction to, and education about these magnificent creatures, we promote compassion and respect for all animals while fostering recovery for endangered species.

Den Shavings!

Serenity Springs is in need of shavings to put in the animals dens this winter. Please consider picking up a big bag of shavings at Big R on your way out for a tour.

THANK YOU!
