Opened in 1993, Serenity Springs Wildlife Center is home to over 120 big cats, including lions, tigers, cougars, leopards, genets, servals, caracals, and a coatimundi. We are the largest federal and state licensed placement facility in Colorado.
Over the years, with dedication and determination we've become Colorado's premiere big cat facility. We are proud to be the only facility in the state, including government funded zoological parks, to qualify for and be granted, a State of Colorado Zoological License.
It is with joy that we provide care and love to the exotic cats in our care. See all of the opportunities you have to spend time with these
majestic animals.
A facility of this size cannot survive without your help. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. There are several ways you can directly impact the lives of the cats that call Serenity Springs Wildlife Center home. Click on the How to Help link at the left for more information or

We’re now accredited by the USZA!!!
Great news! We are now an accredited facility of the United States Zoological Association (USZA). There are many associates out there and lots of different views by different organizations and we feel this organization is the best fit for what we do. A little bit about the USZA: The purpose of this organization is to support and unite the commercial zoos, breeders, private owners, and sanctuaries into a networking program to further educate each other and create professionalism within the animal industry. This will give us the credibility we need to work strongly with the lawmakers, to further their education about the exotic and alternative animal owners, and show them we can be responsible and professional.Through conservation, education and outreach we can conserve endangered animals in both captivity and in the wild and help raise awareness of the dangers to wild habitats that may lead to the extinction of some species.
You can read more about it here: http://www.usza.us Additionally our own Julie Walker the Director of Operations has been name the Education Director for the USZA as well. We look forward to working closely with the USZA.
