The leopards of Serenity Springs

A private individual in Nevada owned Anthony, but could no longer take care of him. When he arrived at SSWC we found out that Anthony’s owner’s friend stuck her finger in his cage and he bit it off.  He's one of the reason we have the house rule, what's in the cat's enclosure is theirs and what's outside of it is ours! Ouch!

In August in 2003, we received a call from Ken Lockwood of Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Wichita, KS, he needed to place some rescued cats that were at a breeding operation that was shut down due to the conditions of the facility. Aramis was 8 days old, had Parvo, was dehydrated and not expected to survive. He was raised in Nick’s home and terrorized the house.

Sinbad came from a petting zoo in Oregon. He is an Asian black leopard. His “favorite friend” is Kurt and he loves to stalk little kids.
