Our Summer tour hours are Saturdays and Sundays 9 AM, 11 AM and 3 PM. No reservations are needed to attend a tour.

Please note: the facility will be closed on Saturday, July 17
for a private event.

No appointment is necessary.  Please wait outside the rolling gates for a volunteer to escort you to the photo area.

The cost is $10 per person and children under 2 years old are free. Please go to Directions and Information for more details.

Our voicemail line will be updated if we have to cancel tours due to inclement weather. If the forecast for Falcon, Peyton or Calhan is questionable, we suggest you call our voicemail line at 719-347-9200 before you leave for the sanctuary. 

The tours take a little over an hour and there is not much protection from the weather out on the plains. We suggest you dress in comfortable layers, wear sturdy shoes and sunscreen.

Large Group Tours

Large group tours (20 people are more) are available by appointment. We have a one person golf cart available if you are unable to walk the tour. Please call at 719-347-9200 or email us at info@serenityspringswildlife.org if you have a special request. Email is answered by our dedicated staff of volunteers, please allow a few days for a response.

If you don't live in Colorado, you can still make a difference by sending a donation. Donations are tax-deductible since we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

All donations made here are 100% tax deductible.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Weather in the eastern part of the state can be unpredictable. If inclement weather is predicted for the Colorado Springs the day you are scheduled to visit, it is likely the tour may be cancelled. Even if the sun is out in Colorado Springs, there can still be a blizzard in Calhan.
